Make-up for men: a women’s make-up classic is to be relaunched, but this time specifically for men: YSL Touche Éclat For Men Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat, a concealer long considered a staple of any self-respecting woman’s make-up bag, has been reformulated: “this time for men who want to enhance their skin,” YSL said. “The much heralded ‘metrosexualization’ of the cosmetics sector is officially upon us, as Selfridges, home to the world’s largest beauty hall announces the exclusive launch of YSL Touche Éclat For Men with Stuart Pilkington of Big Brother 9,” department store Selfridges claimed. The current launch follows the launch earlier this year of “guy-liner” and “manscara”, eye makeup for men sold through high street chain Superdrug. The men’s grooming market has boomed in recent years and is worth £700 million in the UK alone, according to business analysts Mintel.
