He created an influential 20th century architectural style, stated with extreme clarity and simplicity and is known for his use of the aphorism “LESS IS MORE”. With the use of visible and invisible disconnection cutting techniques; a minimal, non garish balance is achieved. Colours are strong but not excessive / contrasting whilst beautifully blended.
