| Ultimately inspired by the ‘city of love’, Paris, Breathe captures the feeling of breaking free and taking time to witness life and the world around us, taking us to a place of solace, calm and serenity. Within Paris we see a certain majestic nature and a worldly appeal, which is captured in each individual image of Breathe. There is a feeling of liberation, success and a sense of ‘a moment in time’; do we stop to absorb the influences, creative inspirations and people around us? The use of light casts a hazy, almost dream-like appearance to the imagery – as if I have asked you to step inside my imagination & take a breath – yet it also illuminates all aspects of hair – from whimsical and moving, to calm and lush, with a distinct feeling of sophistication and majesty in the finished product.
