Salon International has now closed its doors for 2013, after an incredible three days that have motivate and educate the global professional hairdressing audience it attracts each year. From the 12th – 14th October, Salon International has brought together brands from all over the world to showcase the latest techniques and trends in hairdressing.

SALON LIVE took place in the Salon Live theatre, located in the Capital Suite at ExCeL London, and it has seen some of the world’s best creative hairdressers at work. They shared ideas, revealed their inspiration and unveiled their latest collections whilst giving their views on the future trends of hairdressing.

ISARGASSI, Roma: gli ospiti russi
entusiasti dell’Accademia parrucchieri

Dal 23 al 28 settembre 2013, nell’ambito di collaborazione tra l’Unione dei Parrucchieri e Cosmetologi della Russia (Mosca) e l’Accademia italiana dell’Arte Parrucchiera ISargassi (Roma) si è svolto il corso di Formazione Professionale con partecipazione del gruppo di parrucchieri-stilisti russi. Igor Doroganov, Manager del Overseas department, Union of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists of Russia, racconta le sue impressione e il suo giudizio entusiasta sull’operato dell’Accademia ISARGASSI.

В рамках сотрудничества между Союзом парикмахеров и косметологов России(Москва) и итальянской искусства Isargassi(Рим) группа российских парикмахеров-стилистов посетила учебный семинар в Академии Isargassi в период с 23 по 28 сентября 2013года.Игорь Дороганов, Менеджер заморского департамента, Союз парикмахеров и косметологов России, рассказывает о своих впечатлениях и его острое суждение о работе Академии ISARGASSI.

Los cuatro protagonistas de Show Positivo presentado sus últimas creaciones en un escenario que promete ofrecer una experiencia visual y creativa única.

Show Positivo is the only industry event that brings together on one stage the greatest talent in fashion and hair through the participation of prthe most important figures in both areas: Amaya Arzuaga and Davidelfín in collaboration with hairdressing firms XaShow Positivo presented their latest creations in a setting that offered a unique and creative visual experience.

TONI&GUY, London:
50th Hair – Festival

September 8th 2013 saw TONI&GUY celebrate its 50th Festival at Knebworth House. The festival was a world first on hairdressing being the only over Festival to be held by a hair brand. The festival had two key stages the first of which entertained the crowds with up and coming acts such as Joel Bailey. The main stage held the big event with crowds of over 4000 hairdressers being led in to the arena by a The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band.

congresso nazionale dell’hairstyle

Si è tenuto a Roma, domenica 6 Ottobre, il congresso nazionale di INTERCOIFFURE MONDIAL. L’associazione, che raccoglie hairstylists da tutto il mondo, si conferma un imprescinbile punto di incontro per chi opera nella coiffure. La presentazione della nuova collezione moda firmata dal Team Intercoiffure è avvenuta nella splendida cornice di Villa Borghese mentre la cena di Gala è stata ambientata nel magnifico hotel Aleph. Tra gli importanti riconoscimenti e premi consegnati all’interno della manifestazione citiamo le ambitissime FORBICI D’ORO, consegnate all’hairstylist SERGIO VALENTE.

Spanish Hairdressing Awards

With the Spanish Hairdressing Awards, CLUB FIGARO aims to encourage people to take up hairdressing and raise the artistic level of our profession across the whole country. These awards will recognise photographic work featuring fashion trends in hairdressing created by the leading Spanish hairdressing firms with the aim of distinguishing the most creative hair stylists in the country and bringing added value to Spanish hairdressing, showcasing the fabulous artistic talents of our hairdressers in the media and to society as a whole.

Welcome to the 4rd Edition of the FIGARO AWARDS and CATWALK SHOW 2013, which took place on Saturday 05th October in Madrid.
