Team members of RUSH HAIR were recently asked to style hair at the Fashion in Motion: KANSAI YAMAMOTO show at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Yamamoto is know for shows which combine fashion with music, dance and entertainment on a large scale, and the Rush Hair team worked backstage to create styles which complemented the striking designs and exciting production. The concept behind the show was the Japanase word basara, which means to dress freely, with a stylish extravagance. With this in mind, the Rush Hair team set about creating a wide range of hairstyles to reflect concept. “The whole experience was incredible,” said stylist Sam Burnett. “It was an honour to work closely with such an iconic figure in the fashion industry and the show left us all feeling incredibly inspired.”
