Tutti i capelli sono più belli dopo una piega fatta come si deve, ma i capelli secchi risentono più degli altri dello “stress” del finishing, ecco allora alcuni consigli per aiutarli ad essere luminosi e morbidi.

• Partiamo dallo shampoo che deve essere delicato ma idratante, mentre lavate i capelli massaggiate con movimenti circolari anche la cute: stimola la circolazione e favorisce il benessere capillare.
• Segue il conditioner, che dovete scegliere senza ingredienti siliconici perché, alla lunga, disidratano e lasciano il capello più arido. Per asciugarli tamponiamoli delicatamente con una salvietta e pettiniamoli da bagnati.
• Per lo styling evitiamo il phon troppo caldo, teniamolo a 40 cm dalla testa e concediamoci la piastra solo una volta alla settimana.

La piega che va di moda adesso è quella a onde morbide, naturali, che si ottiene avvolgendo i capelli intorno alla spazzola tonda tenuta in verticale. Buono styling a tutti !

Gli hairstylists ci svelano che la tendenza dell’estate è quella per i colori naturali, simili alla propria tonalità originaria, affinché siano semplici da gestire in ogni occasione. Si parte dall’intramontabile castano, un colore perfetto anche il trend del momento: il contouring, che prevede sfumature dal biondo al ramato da applicare sul castano di base, su ciocche che circondano il volto. Ancora molto di moda saranno i rossi in tutte le loro sfumature: dal ginger irlandese fino al rame. Ideale per le donne dall’incarnato chiaro. Ritorna il biondo, abbandonando però il platino per tinte chiare ma naturali.

SAKS APPRENTICESHIPS has called in tis youngest fans to star in campaign to recruit young apprentices. The leading trainers new marketing campaign – “When I grow up I want to be a Sak’s Apprentice” – features the babies of Sakes Apprentiveships salons’s employees ina bid to raise awareness of apprenticeships among 16-18 year olds.It is hoped that photos on social media of the bouncing babies sporting Saks Apprenticeships bibs will draw attention to a national shortage of teenages taking up apprenticeship opportunities, with more than 100 vacancies for programmes run by Saks Apprenticeships in salons all over the country.

The campaign coincides with the news that Saks Apprenticeship has beaten 799 other training providers to be named the best in the country by employers. Saks Apprenticeships scored highest in the newly published Government survery for employer satisfaction, scoring a 9.8 employer satisfaction reting for the year 2014-2015. Saks Apprenticeships, which delivers hair, beauty and management apprenticeships, currently has more than 500 apprentices working in 240 salons nationwide.

UK Salons and mobile hair and beauty workers are confident about the future and set to boost the jobs market, reveals HJ, the Hairdresser Journal. The report, from Salon Sally Services, reveals that salons and mobile hair and beauty workers are set to provide the jobs market with a major boost, creating more than 37,000 apprenticeships and jobs across the nation in 2016. The report reveals that 98 % of salons and mobile workers in the UK plan to increase or mantain the number of staff they employ over the next 12 month. And 43 % plan to hire at least one additional apprentice this year. This equates to 23,165 apprenticeship and 13,951 jobs during 2016. Optimism in general is high, with 76 % of UK salons saying 2015 was a good year for business and 90 % reporting high levels of optimism for the year ahead.

Optimism levels are highest in Scotland, Wales and the West Midlands. British men now make up a fifth of all customers, with 97 % of businesses reporting that male customers levels have either increased or stayed the same over the past 12 months. With image-conscious men now treating themselves more often than ever, everyday treatments like shaving are up by 59 %. And men in the North East are now indulging in hair removal treatments every four week compared to every eight in 2015 – amounting to seven extra treatments a year. David Beckham has retained his crown as the UK’s top male style icon for an impressive fifth year in a row, with his look most coveted by men in the East Midlands. The release of the latest James Bond film “Spectre” has helped to land Daniel Craig third place in the style stakes this year, with Mark Wright taking second place.

Testing beauty and personal care products on animals will be banned by this month in Australia, as the country follows a long list of markets in outlawing the testing method. The country’s coalition government, along with its Labor and Green parties, have all committed to the change in legislation, as announcement by the coountry’s assistant mintser for health, Key Wyatt, and its member for La Trobe,Jason Wood, confirmed.

It means Australia will ban the practice of testing cosmetics on animals domestically, and also outlaws the sale of any products from abroad which contain ingredients that have been tested on animals.
