The second edition of the Hispano-American Congress of Micropigmentation, CHMM’17, a unique and extraordinary academic event in this sector, organised by Salón Look/IFEMA and the Spanish Association of Micropigmentation (AEMP in Spanish), is finalising its preparations. Its next meeting will take place during Salón Look 17, from3 to 7 November in Hall 3 at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid, under the direction of Mario Gisbert, president of the association and one of the most prestigious international experts in the technique of micropigmentation, who will also be in charge of the presentation of the congress.
During the congress, attendees will be able to learn four different eyebrow techniques, using both a dermographer and a manual inductor (“microblading”), as well as the latest techniques for the lips, eyes, areola, hair and pigmentology. All of these topics will focus on opening up new opportunities in the micropigmentation business. The Scientific Seminar will be held on November 3, 4 and 5. Here, the instructors will talk about their techniques step by step and perform 8 complete procedures live on real models. On November 5 a Color Megaclass will take place, where avant-garde techniques and formulas in the field of pigmentology will be presented, and on November 6 and 7 8 hands-on master classes –are scheduled from which four can be chosen, where step-by-step exercises will be performed using paper and latex.
The topics on the agenda will be taught by the best international trainers of the moment , including Francesca Marta Froio (Italy), director general of the Biotek International Academy and manager of Biotek; Jane Hargreaves (Great Britain), a Goldeneye teacher in the United Kingdom; Sol Volcan and Oscar Gómez (Colombia), teachers of micropigmentation for 14 years; Soula Koutsogiannaki (Greece), creator of some unique Microblading techniques, Filomena Bernardo (Portugal), director and trainer of Dermofil; Alessandro Lardi (Italy), a world leader in capillary micropigmentation. From Spain, María Dolores Pérez Sancho is a teacher at various centres, such as the Generalitat de Catalunya’s Institute of Health Studies, the Master in Aesthetic Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Aesthetic and Functional Gynecology at Barcelona University; Mar Díaz is technical director of the firm Salvador Córdoba and is a “Master Teacher” for Biotek España; and Dina Gil is the trainer who developed the concept of “nature-tecture brows”, a methodology for creating ultra-natural eyebrows.
Salón Look 2017: 20 years and 5 exhibition halls The 2017 edition of Salón Look, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, will be held at Feria de Madrid from 3 to 5 November – Friday to Sunday, as requested by the sector. It will offer even more brands and content, so that a new exhibition hall has been added to those previously used, making a total of 5 exhibition halls. This will allow the exhibition to be organised in a more professional manner, dividing it into sectors. Over 400 direct exhibitors and more than 1,300 brands are expected to participate.
