Parigi – Un tribunale francese ha sentenziato che eBay, il più grande sito di aste online del mondo, non può essere ritenuto legalmente responsabile della vendita di profumi e creme per il viso a marchio contraffatto L’Orèal presenti nella versione francese del sito. La sentenza, che arriva dopo due anni di causa, coinvolge tutti i prodotti L’Orèal inclusi Yves Saint Laurent, Lancome e Garnier.
Paris – A French court has ruled that eBay Inc. (EBAY), the world’s largest online auctioneer, can’t be held legally accountable for the sale of counterfeit L’Oreal SA (LRLCY) perfumes and face creams on its Web site in France. The ruling, which comes two years after the French cosmetics giant filed a lawsuit against eBay, encompasses all brands for which L’Oreal makes beauty products, including Yves Saint Laurent, Lancome, Garnier and others.
